The World is Mourning… The World is Crying…

Day by day, we get shocked about the horrible terrorism attacks we hear in the news, about the wars…all this wave of catastrophes which affect us as humanity… Immediately, we fill the social media with supportive comments about the “viral” new, which becomes “trendy”… which is great of course!… However… What are we really doing about it?… Have we ever thought about the terrorism attacks we make by trying to impose our ideologies by proclaiming that what we do is “right”, and what others do is “wrong”?… Have we ever thought about the way we kidnap and kill others’ ideologies just cause they differ from ours?…

All this begins from the moment when we don’t respect the diversity… Like someone speaking with a different accent, dressing in a way we are not use to… It goes on by “deciding” the way others should live their lives… (whether if they are “homosexual”, “pregnant and not married”, “divorced”, or “jobless”)… Such will to keep on labeling others… Until the point where we judge others by what they do on their spare time, and “condemn” them for their music taste, or for a simple and insignificant thing such as downloading an app in the cellphone that we think is for “fools”, “idiots”, “desperate”… just cause we don’t use it… Isn’t that one way of terrorism?… Why don’t we get shocked about it?…

We have never thought about the inner fight each and one of these people is going through by being “different”, by accepting themselves as diverse… by trying to integrate into a society that will never stop being “double-moral”, just for the only reason which is the need of “belonging” which we all human beings have… Maybe this fight is similar to the one any of us is going through right now…

Let’s live and let live! Stop being judges, and stop “playing God”… Let’s accept that everybody is different from myself… “Each person is a new world”… Let’s stop hijacking others’ worlds… Stop those “bomb-attacks”… Let’s focus on “living”… What others do or stop doing is THEIR PROBLEM… not ours…

Neighbor’s life concerns to my neighbor… So, let’s focus in the way we live our own one! As Benito Juárez said: “Among individuals, as in nations, the RESPECT for OTHERS’ WILL means PEACE”… We have been taught this since we were little ones… Some of us even were asked to write that phrase several times for homework… Seems it’s been forgotten… Let’s start using it! Let’s keep on performing it!… It is never too late to start!…

Personally, such is the live I try to aim for.. Care about my life… Try not to do what I don’t want others do to me! I live, and let live!…

I know nobody has asked for my opinion…However, this is my Trinchador, and want to share it together with this image which I painted on 2010… Thank you all for taking the time to read it!
